Responsive Species
Based off the coast of Orford Ness, Suffolk, home to old secretive military testing facilities, ‘Responsive Species’ act as an information gathering colony. Their main objective is to monitor the ever changing geology of the coastline and sea, accumulating data on tidal patterns, sea temperatures and the shifting seabed. Using tidal propellers the colony is able to generate power and maintain its position of the coast allowing it to be self sufficient and disconnected from the main land.
